Libraries
In order to complete assignments for the IDEE programme you will need to borrow books from the university libraries in Amsterdam. The EFA library will not meet all your needs in this respect. Below are links to some of the libraries in Amsterdam. You can search their on-line catalogs and sometimes reserve books on-line and then pick them up when convenient.
AdamNet
The Adamnet card allows you to become a member of other libraries in Amsterdam free of charge. The AdamNet Card is free for IDEE students and can be picked up from the EFA Library on showing your EFA Student Card; it's valid for one year.
In order to borrow books from other libraries you need to become a member and obtain a library card from that library. To get this card go to the main location of the library and show your Adamnet card, your student card, a valid ID and proof of address. You will then be asked to fill out a form and receive that library's card.
